Task 8要寫份report評估Brighthouse Cinema係咪適合做放映場地,題目明確講咗"to persuade the committee not to take this venue",即係你要說服委員會唔好揀呢個場地。

考評局特別提到,錄音入面有啲好candid嘅phrase,例如"a terrible cinema"、"end up being a nightmare",你唔可以直接搬落report。你要識得transform,例如將"terrible"轉做"does not meet our requirements",將"nightmare"轉做"would present significant challenges"。 Report on Brighthouse Cinema as a Screening Venue for The Electronic Durian",跟住有intro paragraph講明份report嘅目的同背景,例如"This report evaluates Brighthouse Cinema as a potential venue for the screening of The Electronic Durian on 19 June..."

Isabel Luna is in a wheelchair and needs access to the stage",8.5要講"we require at least ten ushers to hand out 3D headsets"。 Brighthouse Cinema will not allow outside food"。

Based on the above concerns, it is recommended that the committee seek an alternative venue"。

Task 9要幫The Electronic Durian寫programme text,放喺Visual Media Festival嘅場刊入面,大約120字。

WhatsApp group入面Mira提到"metal noodles scene",話係best scene、everyone thought it was hilarious,呢啲都可以寫入programme text增加吸引力。

Sammi finds it difficult to put in contact lenses"就錯咗,因為現實係Rebecca有困難,戲入面Sammi除lenses係情節需要。 Rebecca Chin stars as Sammi, who discovers the truth after removing her special lenses"。

A science fiction thriller set in 2030"做開場,一針見血。

The Current State of Cinema",分兩個sub-topics:"Going to the cinema vs watching films at home"同"Blockbusters vs low-budget films"。呢個task難在你要show awareness of the specific context,即係你唔係單純寫一篇speech,而係要introduce a discussion after a specific film screening。

Ladies and gentlemen"、"Thank you for coming",但只有最強嘅考生先至表達到個speech嘅真正目的。 After watching such a fabulous film, we are honoured today to have invited the filmmaker Isabel Luna to conduct a discussion session."

Mira話Isabel Luna用VR技術好amazing,"You don't see innovations like this in all those Hollywood blockbusters"。 The technology's cheap and all of these low budget film makers... have the freedom to explore this type of thing. Big budget blockbusters will always play it safe."

Cinema vs home: ... 2.

另外,identify information relevant to both task and text type都好重要,寫promotional text同寫report需要嘅信息唔同,即使同一個source,都要揀過先好用。
